This is a very nice basic laser range finder with a number of functions.
It's sold as being for golf, but a laser ranger is a laser ranger and it works for any situation were you need accurate measurement of distance.
It has a 6X magnification to allow better aiming at long range and for use as a telescope.
The unit has a 1200 yard maximum range, with plus or minus one yard accuracy over the distance.
I tested it at various ranges and accuracy appears to be spot on.
The eye piece can be rotated to set focus, and operation is simple with only two buttons to control functions.
After 30 seconds of no use it automatically shuts itself off to save the battery charge.
The device case is hard plastic with a golf themed design.
