FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The hat is packaged in a thin box. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was a heavy odor. It was enough to make me not want to wear it. But then I put it aside for a few days to air out and the odor is gone.
THE HAT
The hat is made of a soft khaki twill fabric, and it seems well-made. It is a light, floppy hat, good for tossing into a beach bag or packing for a trip, making it versatile and a good value.
I chose the hat because I need the brim to keep the light out of my eyes, even though I wear sunglasses. I normally wear baseball caps and this seemed like a good alternative.
THE SIZE
For my head, the hat runs a little large. But happily, there are two pull strings in the inside of the hat. When drawn, it helps the hat to fit me more securely.
WASH FIRST
With all new garments, linens, and towels, I always wash them first. Because this hat had a terrible odor, even though it dissipated, wash the hat before wearing.
SUMMARY
Once I got over the initial odor, I actually liked the hat. The material is light and I like that it's 100% cotton. I am also very happy that I can adjust the size so it fits my small head.
This bucket hat fit very well, even on a larger-sized head. I often have trouble finding hats that don’t feel tight or sit too high, but this one had plenty of room and was comfortable from the start.
The cotton fabric feels nice and breathable, and the ventilation holes help keep it from feeling overly warm. The hidden adjustment inside the sweatband is a nice feature and makes it easy to fine-tune the fit without changing the appearance of the hat.
It’s lightweight and folds down easily for packing, yet it returned to its shape without much effort. The simple design also looks just like the listing photos.
The comfortable fit was the standout feature for me, especially since finding a bucket hat that works well for a larger head isn’t always easy.
This bucket hat quickly became one of my favorite outdoor accessories. It fit perfectly right out of the package, so I never even needed to use the hidden adjustment feature.
The cotton material feels soft, breathable, and surprisingly comfortable, even during a warm outdoor event. Although I chose the black color, it never felt overly hot while wearing it for several hours outside. The brim provides excellent shade and coverage from the sun without blocking your view.
The hat stayed securely in place outdoors and is lightweight enough to wear comfortably throughout the day. It’s also easy to fold and pack without losing its shape, making it convenient for vacations, parks, or sporting events.
The overall style is more casual than sporty, and I think it works equally well for both men and women.

I am absolutely thrilled with this bucket hat! First and foremost, it looks great on—it has a beautiful, classic, minimalist silhouette that instantly elevates a casual outfit. The black color is nice and rich, giving it a timeless retro vibe that goes with literally everything.
The quality of the 100% cotton fabric is excellent. It feels very soft, lightweight, and high-quality, and the little breathable eyelets on the sides do a great job of keeping your head cool on hot days. One of my favorite features is the hidden adjustable drawstring inside the sweatband. It’s genius because you can completely customize the fit so it stays snug and secure, but the adjustment is totally invisible from the outside, preserving the clean look of the hat.
It’s also incredibly packable. I can fold it up, toss it in a bag, and it pops right back into shape when I'm ready to wear it.
in case this is a gift – get it because this came nicely packaged in a flat box
for a $15 hat – i was kinda surprised that it was so well packaged
the hat did have a faint odor but it aired out after a day or so
hat was a snug fit for me and i have a large noggin – so if you have a medium to smaller head – this would be a perfect fit – great for kid size
this is floppy enough to pack easily in a bag/suitcase
